Process sensors come in a variety of shapes and sizes. Process sensors, which are used in a variety of applications and are designed to capture reliable measurements of the process, are in addition to the main four: temperature sensors, pressure sensors, level sensors, and flow sensors (also known as flowmeters). Things aren't going to get any better if the process control system orders actuators to move process variables based on erroneous measurements.
