A multi-frequency vibration calibrator made for in-situ tests in accordance with ISO 8041 is the SV 111 Portable Vibration Calibrator. The SV 111 may be used to calibrate various vibration meter types at frequencies ranging from 16 Hz to 640 Hz. Depending on the frequency chosen, the user can choose a calibration level between 1 and 10 m/s2. At 16 Hz, a shaker can be loaded with heavy objects up to 1 kilogram. The calibrator's construction is based on a microprocessor-driven shaker and an integrated triaxial reference accelerometer. The reference accelerometer detects the cross-axis and transverse vibrations in accordance with ISO 8041 in order to identify interference on the calibration signal.
